KERCA connects customers with independent Pros. KERCA is not the contractor, employer, insurer or guarantor of a job. These safeguards reduce risk but do not replace independent verification, a written service contract, insurance or professional advice.
Verify before hiring / Verifica antes de contratar
A KERCA badge records only the checks completed at a particular time. Customers must independently confirm the Pro's identity, active license, insurance and legal authority for the exact work and location. Pros must keep all information current and work only within their lawful scope.
Put the job in writing / Pon el trabajo por escrito
Before work starts, use a written estimate or contract with the legal provider name, scope, exclusions, materials, price, deposit, schedule, permits, warranty and cancellation terms. Approve material changes in a written change order and keep messages, photos, receipts and proof of payment.
Protect people, property and data / Protege personas, propiedad y datos
Do not share passwords, full payment credentials or unnecessary identity documents in ordinary chat. Keep access codes and addresses private. Discrimination, harassment, threats, theft, fraud, illegal work, review manipulation and undisclosed substitute workers are prohibited.
Report problems quickly / Reporta problemas rápidamente
For immediate danger call 911 or the appropriate utility or authority. For non-emergencies, stop unsafe work, preserve evidence and report the concern to KERCA support. KERCA may restrict an account, preserve records and cooperate with authorities, but does not replace police, regulators, insurers or courts.

KERCA may review credentials, moderate content, request records, suspend or remove accounts, facilitate communication and report suspected crime. A review, badge, rating or background check is informational—not a promise of safety, legality, character, workmanship or future conduct.
